Key Responsibilities

About the Role:

We are seeking a hands-on Senior HRIS Analyst to serve as the system owner for our Workday HCM platform while supporting HR processes that extend into several internally developed (home-grown) systems.

This is a senior, solution-oriented role for someone who understands system design, integrations, data governance, and cross-functional HR operations. You will partner closely with HR, IT, Finance, and external vendors to ensure data integrity, compliance, and seamless system operations across our HR technology ecosystem.

In this role, you will help drive Workday best practices, influence system strategy, and translate complex business objectives into scalable technical solutions. You will also play a key role in maintaining platform health, improving product quality, and accelerating time-to-value through automation, integrations, and continuous optimization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own configuration and continuous optimization of Workday Core HCM, Payroll, Compensation, Absence, Time Tracking, integrations, and EIBs.
  • Design and enhance business processes, security roles, and data governance to ensure system integrity and scalability.
  • Develop advanced custom reports, calculated fields, and dashboards to deliver actionable operational insights.
  • Perform day-to-day troubleshooting across Payroll, Benefits, ATS (iCIMS), and internal system integrations.
  • Coordinate and regularly participate in meetings with Corporate HRIS and global stakeholders to align system strategy, standards, and ongoing initiatives.
  • Support and maintain internally developed (home-grown) HR systems, and provide backup support to current system stakeholders to ensure operational continuity.
  • Support HR operations that span Workday and internally developed HR systems.
  • Drive AI and automation enablement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes through AI features, RPA, and system-driven automation
  • Act as a consulting advisor to HR leaders and business stakeholders by delivering custom analytics and problem-solving sessions, and by communicating complex insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Lead end-to-end HRIS initiatives including UAT testing, release management, and production migrations.
  • Document system architecture, operational processes, and knowledge transfer materials to ensure continuity and platform health.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on Workday HCM configuration experience and 8+ years of overall HRIS experience
  • Strong expertise in Core HCM, Payroll, Compensation, Absence, Time Tracking, integrations, and EIBs
  • Proven experience translating HR business requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Deep knowledge of Workday business processes, security framework, reporting, and calculated fields
  • Experience supporting Payroll, Benefits, and ATS (iCIMS) integrations across multiple systems
  • Strong HR domain expertise with the ability to influence and promote Workday best practices
  • Experience working across multiple HR platforms (Workday and internally developed systems)
  • Ability to thrive in complex, fast-paced technical environments
  • Excellent cross-functional communication, analytical thinking, and advanced troubleshooting skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related technical/analytical field
