About the role:
You will be responsible for the mechanical design, validation, and optimization of CDU systems, ensuring it meets stringent
requirements for reliability, manufacturability, and efficiency. Lead the mechanical design of CDU assemblies, including housings, manifolds, piping, and structural components.
Conduct tolerance analysis, material selection, and structural validation using CAD/CAE tools. Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing teams to optimize designs for cost, quality, and mass production.
Support prototype builds, testing, and design iterations based on validation results.
Document engineering specifications, drawings, and BOMs to ensure traceability and quality. Drive continuous improvement by monitoring industry trends and integrating new technologies into CDU designs.
Key responsibilities:
Experience in designing liquid-cooled CDUs or server cooling systems.
Capable of conducting CFD/FEA analysis, performing flow field simulations and structural strength verification.
Experience in supplier management and mass production implementation, able to assist in cost optimization and quality improvement.
