Key Responsibilities

This is a ground-floor opportunity for recent Electrical/Electronic or Mechanical Engineering graduates to begin a long-term career with Delta. As an Entry-Level Field Service Engineer, you will receive hands-on, on-the-job training and mentorship while supporting real-world energy and telecom systems at customer sites.

You’ll work alongside experienced engineers, follow structured training plans, and gain exposure to UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) and HVAC systems that support critical infrastructure. This role is designed to help new graduates build strong technical, troubleshooting, and customer-facing skills while growing into senior engineering or leadership roles over time.

What You’ll Learn

 

  • How to install, commission, and maintain UPS and HVAC systems
  • Hands-on troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical systems

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Assist senior engineers with installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and repair of UPS or HVAC systems
  • Participate in structured training programs focused on safety, diagnostics, and equipment operation
  • Provide on-site and remote technical support under supervision
  • Support testing and inspection of systems to ensure performance and compliance
  • Complete service reports and documentation accurately and on time
  • Follow Delta’s safety and quality standards at all customer sites
  • Travel regionally (and occasionally nationwide) for field assignments

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate, Technical, or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, UPS, or related technical field
    (Military technical experience also considered)
  • Must be fluent in Mandarin and English.
  • Basic understanding of electrical or mechanical concepts (voltage, current, airflow, pressure, etc.)
  • Strong willingness to learn and follow safety procedures
  • Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as required

 

Physical/Work Environment:

 

  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and reliable transportation and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds for short durations.
  • Ability to kneel or crouch periodically.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to travel for multiple days either by car or flight as projects require
  • Coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining 100% safety awareness.
  • Lifting heavy objects and stretching above your head.
  • Willingness to travel at least 80% of the time locally or regionally depending on client needs.

The base salary range for this full-time position is Fill External Salary Posting Range Here per year. Actual pay will depend on factors such as location, skills, experience, market conditions, and business needs. This role may also be eligible for incentive pay, subject to the terms of the applicable plan.
