Position Overview: 

 

Location: Raleigh, NC (On-site)

Target Compensation: $135,000 – $170,000 base salary + bonus eligible (pending formal benchmarking and leveling alignment)

Work Authorization: This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without the need for current or future sponsorship.

 

The Contracts Manager will support Delta Electronics’ Energy Infrastructure business by leading the commercial contract management process across utility-scale energy projects including Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Solar, Microgrids, PCS, and related infrastructure solutions.

 

This role will partner closely with Business Leadership, Legal, Finance, Sales, Engineering, and Procurement teams to negotiate, review, and manage complex commercial agreements with developers, EPCs, hyperscalers, utilities, financiers, and strategic customers.

 

The ideal candidate will bring strong experience managing commercial risk, negotiating high-value infrastructure agreements, and supporting large-scale renewable energy or critical infrastructure projects within fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead negotiation and commercial review of Supply Agreements, MSAs, LTSAs, EPC-related agreements, and strategic customer contracts
  • Partner with Legal teams to identify and negotiate key commercial terms, liabilities, warranties, indemnities, and risk protections
  • Support contract execution for utility-scale BESS, Solar, PCS, and Microgrid infrastructure projects
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to align contractual commitments with technical and operational requirements
  • Manage post-award contractual obligations, milestone tracking, reporting requirements, and commercial compliance activities
  • Support cross-functional coordination between Sales, Legal, Finance, Procurement, and Operations teams
  • Assist with contract lifecycle management, commercial documentation, and internal approval processes
  • Evaluate and mitigate commercial, operational, and financial risks associated with complex energy infrastructure agreements

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Contract Management, Commercial Management, or Legal Contracts experience within Renewable Energy, Energy Infrastructure, Utilities, EPC, or related industries
  • Strong experience negotiating commercial agreements, supply agreements, service agreements, and infrastructure-related contracts
  • Understanding of commercial risk management, warranties, liability limitations, indemnities, and contractual protections
  • Experience supporting utility-scale BESS, Solar, Microgrid, Data Center, or critical infrastructure projects preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Engineering, or related field
  • Strong communication, negotiation, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working cross-functionally within fast-paced, matrixed organizations
  • Exposure to Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems and Microsoft Excel

Pay Range

USD $135,000.00 - USD $170,000.00 /Yr.

Preferred Qualifications

  • EPC contract management experience
  • Experience supporting hyperscalers, utilities, developers, or large infrastructure customers
  • Familiarity with DOE, FERC, and broader energy regulatory environments
  • NCMA, PMP, or related professional certification preferred
  • Mandarin fluency preferred
  • Experience supporting international commercial agreements and global supplier/customer relationships
  • Interest or experience within emerging technologies, power electronics, renewable energy, or Energy Infrastructure markets
