Key Responsibilities

  • Attending project meetings as required, including coordination with sales, project management, and clients.
  • Install, commission, maintain, inspect, and troubleshoot industrial and automated Delta equipment
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and machine-control issues
  • Read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, manuals, and machine documentation
  • Provide on-site technical support and communicate solutions to customers
  • Assist with machine demonstrations, customer trials, and application testing
  • Support new equipment installations throughout North America
  • Verify machine operation and safety functions during commissioning
  • Train customers on machine operation, maintenance, basic programming, and troubleshooting
  • Document service activities, installations, troubleshooting, and corrective actions
  • Work with Sales, Engineering, Service, and factory teams to resolve technical issues
  • Troubleshoot electrical circuits and networking equipment up to 600v.
  • Coordinate with Technical Project Manager or Field Application Engineering Team to find solutions to product or commissioning issues identified by Factory, or reported by the customer in the field.
  • Perform preventive Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance,  and modifications to existing equipment
  • On Site Technical product support

Minimum Qualifications

  • Electrical Engineering Degree, A Technical Degree in Electronics or equivalent, and 4 yrs+ of experience working in a manufacturing environment, data center, or field service role.
  • Ability to follow prescribed company policies, procedures, and protocols for installation, service, and equipment maintenance
  • Interact politely and professionally with customers and/or coworkers
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and customers
  • Follow all safety policies and companywide safety requirements.
  • Mechanical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance experience
  • Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
  • Working knowledge of electrical wiring, pneumatics, and industrial equipment
  • Valid driver's license and passport
  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision is a must
  • Ability to travel (80%). Must be willing to work evenings and weekends when needed.
  • Experience with robotic manufacturer facilities and electrical motors/controls/drive systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams.

  • Ability to walk long distances across large facilities or job sites as part of daily work activities.
  • Climb ladders, stairs, or work at heights.
  • Lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs.
  • Stand, kneel, or reach for extended periods
  • Work in varied environments (construction sites, outdoor, hot/cold)

Pay Range

USD $93,000.00 - USD $105,000.00 /Yr.

The base salary range for this full-time position is Fill External Salary Posting Range Here per year. Actual pay will depend on factors such as location, skills, experience, market conditions, and business needs. This role may also be eligible for incentive pay, subject to the terms of the applicable plan. Eligible employees receive company-provided benefits in accordance with plan terms and eligibility requirements.
