Key Responsibilities

Delta Electronics seeks a specialist to assist and facilitate the company’s Americas Region to execute decarbonization and green product development, train regional business and sales teams to promote sustainable products, research and respond to regional regulations, and develop (assist) communication strategies for regional impacts.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Assist the Region ESG Manager on various ESG projects.
  • Maintain Region’s GHG inventory, including Scope 1, 2 (can assist) and 3 emissions to help Delta track and achieve long-term SBTi emission reduction commitments.
  • Research, analyze and execute carbon dioxide removal projects at the region to generate carbon reductions used to reduce region’s emission footprints.
  • Research, analyze and conduct green product development projects on existing and well-established certificates, working with business groups to develop impactful green product and certifications.
  • Work with Region’s leadership and internal stakeholders to develop location and business specific training plans in order to elevate sustainable business opportunities; train internal stakeholders on sustainability based on business needs.
  • Research global and regional ESG policies and disclosure standards and provide guidance to the region and headquarter to help Delta disclose and comply at the highest standards.
  • Partner with region’s marketing team to develop effective public communication strategies to promote positive impacts.

Pay Range

USD $80,000.00 - USD $120,000.00 /Yr.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree with engineering, science, sustainability or environmental management related majors, and 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience.  Graduate degrees is a plus.
  • Experience in working within large corporate setting and/or consulting companies that advise corporation sustainability tasks.
  • Technical skills on GHG accounting and/or verification, especially for projects covering multi-national operations with variety of facility/operation types and stakeholder inputs. Official certifications are a plus.
  • Experience in carbon dioxide removal (CDR) protocols, guidance, methodologies and verification process to generate carbon offset credits.
  • Experience in green product development and certifications.
  • Experience in policy study focused on environmental regulations (US EPA, state or local) and global/regional sustainability standards (SBTi, GRI, ISSB, CDP, DJSI, TCFD, CA SB-253, CA SB-261, SEC, etc.)
  • Experience in developing trainings targeting different audience bases.
  • Ability to communicate with various internal and external stakeholders that have different backgrounds to achieve project objectives.
  • Competency in presentation skills toward different audience including regional or global senior managements, business units, facility operations and project teams.
  • Professional proficiency in English; fluent Mandarin is a plus; working proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
  • Experience in MS Suite software as well as utilizing AI (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.)
  • Desire to learn and adapt to fast-paced/dynamic working environment; occasionally participate in meetings in different time zones.
  • Ability to travel for work assignments (<15%).
